Psychological Projection

This collage was inspired by ‘psychological projection’, which is a psy­chological defense mechanism where­ one person ‘projects’ his/her own undesir­able thoughts, motivations, desires, and so on onto someone else. According to the theories of Sigmund Freud, the principle of projection is well established in psychology.
