What This Privacy Policy Covers

This privacy policy covers the use of the web site located at http://www.comuniart.com and the services provided by Comuniart. ("Comuniart "), including how Comuniart treats personal information that Comuniart collects and receives. Pursuant to Comuniart's Terms of Use, you must be 18 years and older to use this site or have permission from a legal guardian. Therefore, this policy makes no provision for individuals under 18 years old. This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that Comuniart does not own or control, or individuals that Comuniart does not employ or manage.

Information Collection and How it is Used
General Information:

    * Comuniart will not sell or disclose your name or email address to third parties without your explicit consent, except as specified in this privacy policy.
    
* Your username, Comuniart ID or alias is displayed throughout  (and so available to the public) and is connected to all of your activity. Other people can see your items for sale.
   
•    Collects personal information when you register to use Comuniart services or to post content on Comuniart. At registration you are asked for your email address, billing address, phone number and certain other optional information.

•    Comuniart does not store any card details / billing information used to purchase items on Comuniart. All billing information is kept by PayPal.
    
    * Comuniart automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookies, and the pages you request. This data is only used in the aggregate.
    
* Comuniart uses information for the following general purposes: products and services provisioning, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, research, and anonymous reporting. IP addresses are automatically reported by your browser each time you view a web page. Your IP address is stored in Comuniart's user registration databases when you register with Comuniart. IP addresses may be used for various research purposes.

Service-related Announcements

Comuniart will send you a welcome/confirmation email when you sign up for Comuniart's services. Receipt of this email is required for using Comuniart's services.

Comuniart will send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so.

You may not opt-out of service-related communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.

Administrative Messages

Comuniart may periodically email you with administrative messages. Comuniart will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. When you post a message, your Comuniart ID or alias is visible to other users. Comuniart may be required to disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as legal action or when your actions violate the Comuniart Terms of Use.  Comuniart employs other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and needs to share your information with them to provide products and services to you. Examples include but are not limited to fulfilling orders, handling billing disputes and collections, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance and providing customer service.

Comuniart will not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with nonaffiliated parties except as specified in this Privacy Policy to provide products or services you have requested or when Comuniart has your permission. As part of the buying and selling process, you may obtain another Comuniart user's email address, shipping address and/or other information. Pursuant to Comuniart 's Terms of Use, you have a limited license to use this information. This information should only be used for Comuniart -related communications or for Comuniart -facilitated transactions. Comuniart has not granted you a license to use the information for unsolicited commercial messages. Without limiting the foregoing, without express consent from the user, you are not licensed to add any Comuniart user to your email or physical mail list.

Editing and Deleting Account Information

You can change your Comuniart Account Information (except your username), at any time. Comuniart may send you certain communications relating to the Comuniart service, such as service-related announcements and administrative messages that are considered part of your Comuniart account. You can delete your Comuniart account from your account page. Please note that your identification and contact information may remain in Comuniart's records for some period.

Comuniart limits access to personal information about you to employees who Comuniart believes reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs. Your Comuniart Account Information is password-protected.
