Having recently graduated from the BA (Hons) Fine Art course at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, I am now an artist living and working in London. I work across a range of media, including painting, sculpture, sound and live, interactive installation.
The paintings that I create are developed from a process of drawing everyday objects, and manipulating these drawings to form an abstract, painted version of their prior selves.
I enjoy, and am fulfilled by, the act of creation, in knowing that each viewer has a completely unique experience when viewing artwork. I am a firm believer in the Duchampian concern of object/subject relationship, which lies at the core of my practice:
The creative act is not formed by the artist alone; the spectator brings the work in contact with the external world by deciphering and interpreting its inner qualifications and thus adds his contribution to the creative act.
