YIFENG ZHANG has graduated from Central Saints Martin for nearly one year. Although he was studying product design back in college, except from considering other people's need and will, illustration is the main way to express himself. Animals, space, death contradiction and loop are the themes that he always care and interested in.
Therefore, we can usuarlly find out the elements above in his drawing been used to achieve the meaning. After drawing his first set of rabbit. He developed and found out
his own way to draw. He belive that the communication between people and anyother things is too easy to end by seeing their overall looking instead of their really life and heart. He love to use colourful ,simple and cute character to present a sadness and lonly feeling. His inspiration also come across different design area. During his finnal year, he created a whole set of illustration - Clone Spaceman is starting by some fashion idea he drawn. Now he is expanding fews sets of drawings and also he is not satisfy only work in 2D. He is trying to bring the spaceman into 3D word like jellery or samll sculptures.
