Gabriel is an Israeli artist and Illustrator, showcasing and publishing in Berlin and Germany in various events and institutions, in the last three years. He graduated with honors in 2008 as Bachlor or Fine Arts and Education, from the Midrasha-Beit Berl Art institute.
Gabriel creates artwork mixing classic ink illustration on paper with digital coloring, in various ways and ranges. His work topics combine aesthetics and themes from classic art (Japanese print, Romantic landscape, classic portraits and realism) with the aesthetics and themes of modern local and international adolescent sub/counter-culture, altogether suggesting a fresh contemporary overview.
Alongside his exhibited art projects, he also illustrates and writes Graphic Novels, currently published in Germany by Archiv der Jugendkulturen (www.jugendkulturen.de). His upcoming book is scheduled for spring 2011.
