I have a fascination with 'the human trace'. I explored this concept in depth during my final degree project and photographed house clearances. Most of the tenant's had passed away or moved into a home, leaving only traces of furniture and personal possessions behind. The interior photographs were un-touched and photographed as I found them. This was a very moving, sensitive project and very rewarding to photograph.
Since graduating I have spent time working as a freelance assistant for a number of photographers including still life photographer Alex Kent and commerical photographer Andy Wilson. I also worked for one of the UK's leading charities Cancer Research UK, managing the imaging library and coordinating photoshoots. This has given me valuable experience working within the photographic and creative industries.
I continue to shoot personal work and recently spent five months travelling around India and South America. I keep a photo blog and also have a personal website.
